Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 - Last Updated: January 31, 2026
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to ZONA.MA. This Privacy Policy outlines how Authentic Web Media Agency ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the ZONA.MA platform, including the website, applications, and all related services (collectively, "the Service"). Protecting your privacy is fundamental to our mission, especially within the decentralized ecosystem we are building.
This policy is designed to help you understand what information we interact with, why, and how you can manage it.
ARTICLE 1: OUR PHILOSOPHY ON PRIVACY IN WEB3
Our approach to privacy is guided by the principles of Web3: user control, transparency, and data minimization. Unlike traditional Web2 services that often rely on extensive personal data collection, our goal is to build a platform that functions with the least amount of personal information possible. You are the custodian of your assets via your personal Wallet, and we believe you should be the custodian of your data as well.
ARTICLE 2: SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to the information processed through our user interface (the ZONA.MA website and dApp). It explicitly does not apply to:
-
The underlying Blockchain: We do not control the Blockchain on which the ZONA.MA protocol operates. Any information you publish to the Blockchain, such as transaction details or your Wallet address, is public, permanent, and cannot be controlled or erased by us.
-
Third-Party Wallets: Your interactions with any third-party wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet) are governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms.
-
Third-Party Websites & dApps: The Service may contain links to external sites or allow redirection from Sectors to third-party properties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
ARTICLE 3: INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
We collect information in three main categories, always striving for minimization:
3.1. Information You Voluntarily Provide
When you interact with our Service, you may choose to provide us with certain information, such as:
-
Account Information (Optional): If you choose to create a traditional account, we will collect your chosen username and an email address. This is used for identification, security notifications, and account recovery. For users who choose to interact solely via a Web3 Wallet, providing this information is not required.
-
Communications: If you contact us directly for support (e.g., via email to invest@zona.ma), we will retain the content of your messages and your contact information to resolve your query.
3.2. Information Collected Automatically Through the Interface
To ensure the security and functionality of our Service, we automatically collect limited technical information when you access our website:
-
Log and Usage Data: This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps of access. This data is essential for security analysis, fraud prevention, and debugging.
-
Cookies: We use minimal, necessary cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences (like connecting your wallet). We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.
3.3. Information Processed from the Blockchain
Our Service functions by reading and displaying publicly available information from the Blockchain. We do not "collect" this information in a private database, but rather process and present it to you. This includes:
- Your Public Wallet Address: This is your anonymous identifier on the Blockchain, which you provide when you connect your Wallet to our Service.
- Transaction Data: Details of your transactions (e.g., minting, buying, or selling Sectors), which are publicly visible on the Blockchain.
- Digital Asset Ownership: The tokens (NFTs and $CLR) held by your Wallet address.
ARTICLE 4: HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the limited information we collect for the following specific purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain the Service: To allow you to connect your wallet, view your assets, and interact with the ZONA.MA protocol.
- To Secure Our Platform: To monitor for and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activities.
- To Communicate With You: To respond to your support requests and to send important service-related announcements (if you have provided an email).
- For Analytics and Improvement: To understand how users interact with our interface so we can improve the user experience. This is done using aggregated, anonymized data.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: To adhere to applicable laws and respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement or regulatory bodies.
ARTICLE 5: DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We are committed to not sharing your personal information, except in the following limited circumstances:
- With Service Providers: We may share technical data with third-party vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as web hosting, security monitoring, and data analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or defend against legal liability.
- In a Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be part of the transferred assets.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.
ARTICLE 6: DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
6.1. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect the information we hold from loss, theft, and unauthorized access or modification. This includes data encryption and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6.2. Data Retention
We retain the personal information we collect (such as your optional email address) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. We may retain technical log data for a shorter period for security and site-operations purposes.
ARTICLE 7: YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
You have rights over your personal information:
- Access and Correction: You can review and update your account information (if any) through your dashboard.
- Account Deletion: You can request the deletion of your ZONA.MA account and associated personal information by contacting us.
- Important Caveat: Please note that any data recorded on the Blockchain (including your transaction history and Wallet address) is permanent and cannot be altered or deleted by us or anyone else.
ARTICLE 8: CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Service is not intended for or directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have, we will take steps to delete such information immediately.
ARTICLE 9: CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
