Privacy & KYC Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

Data Collection for Security

Because the Hex-DNS system aims to eliminate phishing through color-based addressing, absolute transparency regarding domain ownership is required. We collect and publicly display the Verified Entity Name associated with every registered Hex-DNS domain.

What We Collect

  • Corporate entity name or individual legal name (Public).
  • Professional email address (Private, used for billing and alerts).
  • Target URL routing data (Public, as it dictates the redirection).

Extension Telemetry

The ZONA Hex-DNS Chrome Extension does not track your general browsing history. It only activates and sends an API query to our servers when the specific keyword ("hex") is typed into the Omnibox.

Data Deletion

If you allow your Hex-DNS domain to expire, the associated target URL and KYC linkage to that specific color code will be purged from the active routing tables after a 30-day grace period.
